Formatting string field to date format "YYQQ"

The Quarter (Q) won't be used in the calculation since these are already written in to Tableau dates. One way to do this would be to create a calculated field similar to the following:

if [YY/Q]='12/1' then date('1/1/' + left([YY/Q], 2))

elseif [YY/Q]='12/2' then date('4/1/' + left([YY/Q], 2))

elseif [YY/Q]='12/3' then date('7/1/' + left([YY/Q], 2))

elseif [YY/Q]='12/4' then date('10/1/' + left([YY/Q], 2))

end
