Idea Leaderboard
Have the ability for a filter to apply to all sheets on a dashboard, but without making it global. It can be achieved today in a number of ways but not easily: http://community.tableausoftware.com/thread/111456
For many users who wish to align their Tableau analysis to their working week and compare weeks against each other the static Sunday as the start of the week is a major issue. Yes there's a work around using a calculated field but this isn't very robust as tweaks are needed each new year. This seems like such a simple fix especially given the existing ability to change the first month of the accounting year. Please vote and let's have this annoyance crossed off the list!
From my "Wouldn't it be nice post": Many of my workbooks end up with 30+ worksheets. I know I can consolidate the sheets on a dashboard and then hide them, but this is klutzy if I'm doing this just to organize, and it means I need to wait for the dashboard to calculate before I can then go out to the worksheet (and potentially unhide, work on it with other sheets, and rehide). It would be great if I could create a 'folder' tab on the bottom with the worksheet names. I could then drag workshe …
Releasing a native version would remove the need for Parallels. I have a feeling that this will be a popular request... :-) (Note: Any ideas submitted by Tableau Employees are personal opinions and in no way reflections of the official future plans of Tableau Software.)
